How is a Chevalite jacket designed to become waterproof?

Waterproof and windproof jackets marked with Chevalite always have our proprietary, PFAS-free, wind and waterproof membrane Chevalite®, laminated on the back. This membrane has excellent waterproofness, strength and breathability. The membrane together with taped seams and a design that aims to achieve the greatest possible water runoff makes Chevalite jackets always waterproof and windproof.
