The Chevalier Dog Sport Collection is specially developed for dog trainers who work actively with their hunting dogs. Dog Sport Collection
The Dog Sport Collection has been developed in association with retriever handler and picker-up Ida Nilsson. She runs Croftbay Gundogs and has long experience of bird shooting, and especially picking-up.
Ida first came into contact with hunting through her interest in dogs, and since that day almost 20 years ago she has had many dogs and been on even more bird shoots. Ida puts a lot of time into training her working Labradors, partly with the aim of competing, but mainly to help out as a reliable picker-up on autumn shoots.
" I’m a hunter and shooter myself, but perhaps above all a dog trainer. I just love training my dogs! A skilled gun dog makes the shoot so much more fun,” says Ida.
Working alongside our design and product team, Ida has developed a collection to suit every situation where you work with your dog. Clothing with all the right functions, that also keeps you looking good. The Dog Sport Collection includes a shirt, a merino wool pullover, top and cap – perfect complements to the Dog Sport Vest and Vintage Pants already in the range. Blair Shooting Fit Shirt Women
The Blair Shirt is a feminine shirt, shaped at the waist but more spacious across the back and shoulders.
The shirt is made of a stretchy material designed for ease of movement, for instance bending down to collect retrieved birds or communicating with the dog at a distance. The shirt is also slightly longer, so it can easily be tucked in without leaving a gap when you move. The shirt has a stand-up frill collar and cuffs. The frill adds a nice detail under a vest or pullover. The Blair has a light pink base with red-brown pheasants. This is probably the best-looking shirt you will own!

The Kelly Top has been in the Chevalier range a while. It’s a real favorite thanks to the comfortable material with maximum stretch. The Kelly has nice details on the collar and cuffs, making it elegant to wear underneath a pullover or shirt, with a vest or just on its own. " The Kelly Top is one of my favorites in the Chevalier range. I wear it at work, when I’m exercising or out shooting. It’s as comfy as it is attractive, one of those tops you just can’t have too many of. So it was only natural to bring it out in a new color. For me it was important to get the right shade of red. It should feel elegant yet classic, and not be too sensitive to dirt or too light to wear on a day’s shooting. The result is just perfect!"

Blaise Buttoned Merino Pullover
The Blaise Buttoned Merino Pullover is a fine-knit pullover in exclusive Italian merino wool. It has a slightly raised collar and a front placket. The buttons are a nice detail, and when done up they keep the collar steady and in shape. A stylish pullover that can be used as a mock neck or pullover.

" This pullover is made of a superb material that’s thin and supple, so I can move around without it pulling. I like a pullover that comes up a bit on the neck, but that can also open up, either for ventilation or to show the shirt underneath, which looks great. The buttons look really nice whether they’re done up or undone. I’ve missed having a pullover like this in my wardrobe, it’s neat and feminine and such a nice color."

Vintage Dog Sport Vest
The Vintage Dog Sport Vest is the ideal vest for dog training. It is durable and easy to wipe clean, and has plenty of pockets and functions. This Dog Sport Vest is made of Chevalier’s vintage fabric with details in Alcantara. The Alcantara-clad sections on the front are lightly padded and quilted, and the vest can be opened from both the top and bottom thanks to a two-way YKK zipper. The pockets are generous and size adjustable using snaps, and the right bellow pocket has a zippered safety pocket for secure storage of valuables. The bellow pocket on the back can also be volume adjusted using concealed snaps. The back pocket will easily store several dummies, leads or other training equipment.

" My wardrobe includes a lot of dummy vests, so I’ve certainly tried a few. What they all have in common is that they’re awkward and fit poorly. So I was thrilled when I tried Chevalier’s Dog Sport Vest. Finally, a vest that’s comfy to wear and doesn’t slide around when I move.
